Today I had to go to Salt Lake City to get some documents and while there I drove past the Salt Lake City Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The Temple is being restored and as I drove by to see it, I had such an overwhelming feeling of the men and women who sacrificed so much to even have that Temple. It is such gratitude I hold for them all and for our Prophet today who is willing to spend the money and take the time and efforts to restore this beautiful, historical building so that it will be safer all the while keeping the integrity of the building for those who put their time and money into building it.
I am grateful for that special feeling that came over me just at the time I saw the Temple in progress. I am grateful to understand that each of those feelings is a tender mercy from my Heavenly Father and I am full of gratitude for all who spent the 40 years in building this beautiful building.
